Testimonials

Alex Bostock, Headteacher, Clarendon Junior School

I was pleased to employ Hannah as a music specialist to enhance our music provision at Clarendon Junior School. Her lessons are bright, cheerful and purposeful, with pupils enjoying making good progress through the scheme throughout KS2. In a short time she has inspired learning to performance standard, it has been a real pleasure to see her use her obvious musical skills to enthuse pupils and class teachers alike.

Max Weedon, Section Manager for Music at Newcastle College and former Head of BA1 Records at City of Bath College

Hannah is a talented musician and teaching professional. She brings her unique infectious energy to everything she does. She is capable of inspiring her musicians and her love of a wide range of relevant genres means she can engage with students from a wide range of backgrounds. She has the ability to empathise and connect with people, and has valuable experience of teaching a wide range of age groups.

Miss Stewart, Music Subject Leader at Clarendon Junior School

Over the last few years Hannah has taught Music to a variety of Key Stage 2 children and she has set up an extra-curricular choir in school. It is evident her subject knowledge is vast and I am regularly impressed by the learners’ level of understanding in music theory as a result of her lessons.

Helen Murray, parent

Hannah is by far the best piano teacher my daughter has had, and she has had a few! My daughter has come along in leaps and bounds since she started piano lessons with Hannah. Hannah’s continued praise and encouragement keeps my daughter interested and excited about her weekly lessons and keeps her wanting to learn more and to play harder pieces of music and play them well. Hannah’s passion for music comes through in her lessons and is passed on, she is fab and I would definitely recommend her.

Piano student

Hannah is my favourite piano teacher because she teaches me – other teachers only taught me one piece of music at a time, I get to do loads with Hannah. I get to play music and learn how to play actual songs. I like to learn lots of piano notes and I enjoy getting to play new songs.

Sarah Hattingh

Hannah has taught my Year Four class music each week for the past year. Hannah has the ability to motivate and inspire young people with her passion for music. Her subject knowledge is undeniable and she is able not only able to conduct the most difficult of classes but uses a range kinetic, audio and visual strategies to teach the different needs of today’s classroom. The children are always willing and excited to share what they have learnt which gives credit to her rapport with children and adults in the class. Hannah is an asset to any school and a necessity in the music curriculum.
